A Summer Filled with Love

As summer unfolds, our family has chosen to embrace a different rhythm this year. With our 9-year-old taking a break from camps in July, we've turned our home into a playful camp of our own. This decision has brought us closer together, filled our days with laughter, and given us the opportunity to create lasting memories.

One of the key lessons I've learned during this time is the importance of setting intentions each morning. Taking a few moments to reflect on what I want to achieve for the day helps me stay focused and aligned with my values. Whether it's dedicating time to play with my child, tackling a project, or simply ensuring I carve out “me time,” starting the day with a clear intention sets a positive tone for everything that follows.

In addition to setting intentions, I've discovered just how crucial it is to schedule both playtime and work time. Balancing responsibilities while ensuring we have fun can be challenging, but creating a structured schedule allows us to enjoy the best of both worlds. This summer has taught me that play is just as important as productivity, and making time for both leads to a more fulfilling experience for everyone involved.

Equally vital is the concept of “me time.” As mothers, we often pour our energy into caring for our loved ones, but it's essential to prioritize our own well-being. Taking time to recharge; whether through meditation, a good book, or a quiet walk, enables us to show up as our best selves for our families.

For those of you who are home with your little ones and feeling the need for some “me time,” I encourage you to consider incorporating coaching into your routine. Coaching can help you better manage your goals and schedules, allowing you to create efficiency in your life and enhance the quality of time spent with those you care for most.

Remember: Every day is a safe day to change.
