One Month of Freedom

It has been over one month since I took the leap and left my corporate 9-5 job, and wow, what a transformative journey it's been! I wanted to share some powerful lessons I've learned during this incredible month of freedom.

1. Freedom is Invaluable.

There's nothing quite like the ability to schedule my days the way I want. It's a feeling that truly enhances my life and allows me to prioritize what matters most.

2. Time Learning is Never Wasted.

I've dedicated time to learn new things beyond my field—like payment systems and advertising. Every bit of knowledge adds to my growth and opens new doors!

3. Investing Isn't as Scary as it Seems.

Stepping out of my comfort zone and exploring different investment avenues (beyond just retirement accounts) has been eye-opening and empowering. It's amazing what you can discover when you take the plunge!

4. Daily Workouts are a Game Changer.

I never thought I'd enjoy working out every day, but here I am! Consistent exercise has made my body feel better and more energized. Five days a week has been the perfect fit for me!

In addition to these lessons, I recently went live on Instagram to discuss a mindset shift that has profoundly impacted me:

ACTING AS IF TIME HAS COME.

For too long, I've found myself waiting—waiting for the right moment to grow, to achieve, to feel worthy. I realized that instead of waiting for life to happen, I could decide that the time is now

Imagine if today were the most important day of your life. How would you live it?

If I want to speak on stage, why should I believe I need more experience or credentials first? What if I shifted from a preparation mindset to an execution mindset?

I spent years preparing, using it as a shield against failure. But I was ready all along. By acting as if my time has already come, I've started to embody my truth.

This mindset can work for everyone. If you aspire to be a writer, act as if you already are one. If you want to be a leader, start showing up as one. It's not about faking it; it's about recognizing who you truly are beneath the layers of doubt and fear.

Here are five principles to embody this mindset:

1. Your Stance Sets the Stage.

Carry yourself with confidence. Stand tall and speak as if you belong.

2. Your People Influence Your World.

Surround yourself with those who inspire you. Seek relationships that elevate you toward your goals.

3. Words Create Your World.

Speak in the present tense. Claim your identity now—don't push your dreams to the future. Substitute “I will” for “I do.”

4. Consistent Actions Create Certainty.

Make consistent, small decisions daily that align with your vision. Consistency compounds!

5. Discomfort Fuels Development.

Embrace discomfort as a sign of growth. When you feel fear, act anyway—transformation is on the other side.

If you want to dive deeper into any of these lessons or discuss my experiences this past month, feel free to reach out! I'd love to connect.

Warmly,

Carolline
